Day 1: May 31st, 2026
We arrived in Costa Rica excited and ready for all the adventures ahead! After settling in, we enjoyed our first look at the beautiful scenery and began experiencing the warm Pura Vida spirit. We can't wait to explore, learn, and make unforgettable memories during our time here. Stay tuned for more highlights from our journey!
Day 2: June 1st, 2026
Day 3: June 2nd, 2026
Today we learned all about the coffee-making process, including the different roasting levels, flavors, and how coffee is produced from bean to cup. We also discovered how chocolate is made and had the opportunity to taste cacao at different stages of the process, noticing how its flavor changed along the way. To end the day, we made a delicious traditional candy from sugarcane. It was a fun hands-on experience, and without a doubt, it tasted amazing! What a sweet way to learn about Costa Rica’s rich agricultural traditions.
Day 4 & 5: June 3th & 4th, 2026
The activities over the past two days were especially meaningful because we had the opportunity to give back to the wonderful Monteverde community that has been so welcoming to us. During our volunteer work with Siempre Amigos, we visited a local school where we spent time with the students, sharing experiences and creating special memories together. We also helped paint classrooms, contributing to the improvement of the school environment. It was a rewarding experience that allowed us to make a positive impact while connecting with the local community. These two days reminded us that even small acts of service can make a big difference.
Day 6: June 5th, 2026
Today we returned to the treetops for another exciting adventure! This time, the experience was even more thrilling. We flew through the cloud forest on one of the longest ziplines in Central America, stretching nearly 5,000 feet long. The breathtaking views and the rush of flying above the forest made it unforgettable. To top it all off, we took on the Mega Swing, adding even more excitement and adrenaline to an action-packed day. It was a day full of adventure, stunning scenery, and memories we'll never forget!
Day 7: June 6th, 2026
Today we had an incredible opportunity to climb a giant tree in the heart of the cloud forest. Reaching the top was both challenging and exciting, giving us a unique perspective of the forest from above. Surrounded by nature and breathtaking views, we gained a whole new appreciation for the beauty of Costa Rica. Later, we joined a cooking class where we learned how to make traditional Costa Rican-style empanadas. It was a fun hands-on experience, and of course, we got to enjoy the delicious results! From adventure in the treetops to learning local culinary traditions, it was truly an unforgettable day.
Day 8: June 7th, 2026
Today was packed with excitement and adrenaline! We went rafting and experienced the thrill of navigating the river’s rapids, working together as a team while enjoying the beautiful scenery around us. The adventure was both challenging and unforgettable, making it one of the highlights of our trip so far. After an action-filled day, we slowed down and enjoyed a relaxing evening in the hot springs. It was the perfect way to unwind, recharge, and reflect on another amazing day in Costa Rica.

Today we experienced one of the most exciting and magical adventures of our trip: waterfall rappelling! Descending alongside a stunning waterfall was both thrilling and unforgettable. The views were breathtaking, and being surrounded by the power and beauty of nature made the experience even more special. As we made our way down the waterfall, we admired the incredible landscape and felt a true sense of adventure. It was an amazing opportunity to challenge ourselves while enjoying one of Costa Rica’s most spectacular natural wonders. A day full of excitement, beautiful scenery, and memories that will last a lifetime!
