Day 1: June 1st 2025
¡Bienvenidos a Costa Rica! Today marked the group's first glimpse of the country. After a warm welcome and a delicious lunch, they headed straight to the cloud forests of Monteverde to meet their host families. The day ended with a cozy family dinner, an unforgettable start to their journey.
Day 2: June 2nd 2025
The started the day with an unforgettable canopy adventure through the treetops of Monteverde; home to one of the world's most diverse cloud forests! After the adrenaline rush, they enjoyed a special lunch to recharge before diving into their first day of Spanish classes. ¡Un muy bonito día!
Day 3: Tuesday, June 3rd 2025
Today's plans took an exciting turn with a guided tour through the fascinating process of making chocolate and coffee; two of Costa Rica’s most beloved exports. In Monteverde, where the cool climate and rich soil are ideal for growing high-quality beans and cacao, participants didn’t just observe, they rolled up their sleeves and joined in the hands-on experience.
Day 4: June 4th 2025
Today was a meaningful and impactful day for the group as they volunteered at Escuela de San Luis. They dedicated their time to cleaning and painting walls, making a positive difference in the school community. ¡Muy buen trabajo a todos!
Day 5: June 5th, 2025
¡A volar se ha dicho! The group started the day with an exciting ziplining adventure through Monteverde’s cloud forest. After soaring through the trees, they enjoyed a special lunch to recharge before heading to their afternoon Spanish classes.
Day 6: June 6th, 2025
Today was their last day with their host families in Monteverde. At CPI, they got hands-on in a cooking class, learning how to make traditional empanadas — a popular Costa Rican snack filled with cheese, beans, meat, or chicken. After a delicious cooking session we said chao Monteverde. The group set off for La Fortuna to explore another part of Costa Rica. What a full and fun day!
Day 7: June 7th, 2025
¡Buenos días! The group started the day with an adrenaline rush, rafting down a river. It was an exciting way to experience Costa Rica’s natural beauty. Afterward, they enjoyed a relaxing lunch and spent the afternoon soaking in the soothing hot springs of La Fortuna. El agua estaba calida, perfecta.
Day 8: June 8th 2025
Vamos, la aventura continúa. Today they tried rappelling down a waterfall in San Carlos, La Fortuna — an unforgettable experience in one of Costa Rica’s most lush regions. Later, they traveled to Flamingo, Guanacaste, to enjoy the sun and sand by the beach. Pasamos del frío al calor.
Day 9: June 9th, 2025
After an action-packed weekend, the group returned to their Spanish classes. In the afternoon, they took surf lessons in Tamarindo — a famous surfing spot known for its consistent waves and vibrant surf culture. ¡La manera perfecta de disfrutar del mar en Costa Rica!
Day 10: June 10th, 2025
Following their morning lessons, the group went on a sunset cruise in Guanacaste. The sunsets here are stunning — with skies painted in brilliant hues of orange and pink, reflecting over the Pacific Ocean. ¡Una tarde muy llena de colores!
Day 11: Wednesday, June 11th, 2025
Another day of classes in the morning, followed by a visit to Margaritaville to relax on the beautiful Flamingo beach or play in the sand. The evening was special, with a group dinner to celebrate their experiences so far.
Day 12: Thursday, June 12th, 2025
It was volunteer day in Guanacaste! After a rewarding day giving back to the community, the group gathered for a farewell dinner — a perfect way to close volunteer unforgettable journey. ¡Todos tienen mucha energía!
Day 13: June 13th, 2025
¡Último día en Costa Rica! The last day the group thank their professors for all their help with their spanish, the students enjoyed one last tome the bautiful beaches of the country and swam in Conchal Beach. A refreshing way of finishing the day, plus a nice dinner and karaoke!
